Our team works tirelessly in Dr. Roman’s Clinic, Main Street Animal Services of Hopkinton (Massachusetts) (MASH), because we love seeing the changes in the lives of animals after having their internal microbiome restored and flourishing. It is our goal to maintain an information service about this therapy and other procedures to keep all our pets feeling their best! Let our team and our dog and cat donors give your patients (pets) a good start. Since 80% of the immune system comes from the gut, balancing their microbiome will improve its functionality
Dr. Margo Roman is a veterinarian from the Boston area who has pioneered the use of MicroBiome Restorative Therapy (MBRT) and medical ozone therapy among colleagues. Her private practice, Main Street Animal Services of Hopkinton(MASH) www.mashvet.com, a cutting edge integrative referral center since 1983, helps seriously ill pets from all over the Northeast. Dr. Roman lectures at Microbiome conferences including Discovery on Target, CHI and Molecular Medicine Tri Conference, and is part of a collaboration on a canine microbiome and nutrition research study at MIT.
MBRT works to restore balance to the entire system. With special donors who not only have the proper bacteria for restoring and balancing the gut bacteria, but can also transfer other benefits such as healthy skin, coat, gums and teeth.
Our stool donors have been bred for 5 generations to keep the quality behaviors and health standards in addition to their strong gut health.
Dr. Roman’s Healthy Living Standards:
-Natural births with organic bedding
-Raised and nursed with mother up to 12 weeks
-Dogs have only had 1 parvo vaccine at 15 weeks and 1 distemper shot at 17 weeks and titered after that. Titers have been protective as we monitor them. They have had their rabies vaccine at 6 months and then 1 year later to set them into a 3 years status. Titers are done on them to watch rabies protection.
-Generations of a consistent organic raw diet
-Raised in a chemical free environment (no pesticides or flea and tick medicine, all house or lawn chemicals used are natural or organic)
-No antibiotics/ NSAIDS or other conventional medicine used that suppress the microbiome
-Consistently screened and monitored
Lili is named after 2 beautiful towns in Hawaii, Lihue and Hana. She was my first donor. She had her first litter of pups at 9½ years old as I needed to keep sharing the microbiome. She is almost 11 in this picture.
In front is Geneva, the great grandmother, who is 14½ years old here. She survived Malignant Breast cancer for 7½ years with only holistic care. We valued her ability to navigate cancer and live a full life. I am hoping that was given in her microbiome.
